Hisar: A unique incident is coming out of Hisar, in Haryana, where Ganga, a buffalo of the Murrah breed, has created a new record by giving 31 litres of milk in a day. Even before this, the name Ganga had been registered many times in the India Book of Records. Ganga's owner and farmer, Jai Singh, told that many people wanted to buy this buffalo. Even people agreed to pay up to Rs 15 lakh for this. Still, he did not sell Ganga.

According to the news received, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Agriculture Minister JP Dalal have also honoured farmer Jaisingh and his wife Bina, residents of Sorkhi village, for their better contribution in the field of animal husbandry. Apart from this, the couple was also honoured by senior BJP leader Rajnath at the Surajkund fair in 2017. Farmer Jai Singh told that buffalo Ganga has created a record for Punjab and Haryana this year by giving 31 kg (100 grammes) of milk in a day at the national dairy fair in Karnal. Ganga has secured the first position in the National Dairy. He received a reward of 21 thousand rupees for this.

He told that Ganga gives milk worth 60 thousand rupees per day. He is 15 years old. He bought it when Ganga was 5 years old. He takes care of it like his own child. Ganga is fed 13 kg feed and two kg jaggery in a day. Ganga is looked after for 8 hours a day. He is bathed every day. Buffalo is given water every five hours. Farmer Jaisingh told that he has many other buffaloes as well. But the best-quality buffalo is Ganga. He told that he sells milk to customers for Rs 65 per kg.
