Thanjavur, Police seized more than 100 kg of ganja yesterday from a train near here and three persons were arrested in this connection.
According to police, 100 kg of ganja was seized from the Chennai-Tiruchi Cholan Express when it stopped at Papanasam railway station.
They further added, that three persons were arrested in connection with the seizure.
Ganja also known as marijuana among other names is a preparation of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug or medicine.
