Shimla: Due to Corona epidemic, every region of the country has been affected immensely. Meanwhile, even in COVID-19, gardeners are getting a great price of apple. Due to the apple season, there is a great demand in the market for good quality apples to increase immunity. King Roat and the Dark Baron Gala are brought frequently by the buyer. These days, the wholesale price of the best quality apple is running from 190 to 200 rupees per kg.

The apple of Dark Baron Gala Variety of young gardener Sachin Chauhan, resident of Gorli village of Gorli Madavag Panchayat of Chaupal, has been sold in Punjab at Rs 200 per kg. Apples of King Roat Variety has been sold at Rs 190 per kg. On giving information, Sachin Chauhan said, "He planted this type of apple in his garden in 2017, the sample came in the year 2018. There were 130 boxes in the year 2019. This time around 200 boxes of apple production are estimated."

On Monday, Avnish Chauhan, a resident of Dhali village of Kotkhai's Kyari Panchayat, sold King Roat and the Dark Baron Gala apple's half box at Thela's Parala Mandi for Rs 2000. Kiro Singh, the operator of the STC (44) firm of Parala Mandi, Theog, said that Apple is receiving good prices due to the excellent size, vigorous shape, and shine. The buyer of Surat has purchased this apple. The new type of apple has a higher nutrition value. Not only this, it is also considered very beneficial to increase immunity. With this, there has been immense profit in the trade of apples.
