'Congress MLA threatening to break temple': Gaushala operator commits suicide by coming live

Amritsar: A gaushala operator committed suicide by coming live on Facebook at Lambra in Jalandhar, Pt. 50-year-old Dharamveer Bakshi was killed in the incident. He had been serving this gaushala for many years. In a Facebook Live on Monday (August 30, 2021), he leveled serious allegations against Congress MLA Surendra Chaudhary besides officials Pushpa Bali, Sanjeev Kala, Gautam Mohan, and Shriram Kala.

 

He had consumed the toxic substance in a Facebook Live video blaming the men for his death. He was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition where he died at 7.30 am on Tuesday. In a live video in Dharamveer Bakshi, he had alleged that he was constantly being threatened to demolish gaushala and Hanuman temples. He had said that he was saddened by these threats. SSP Naveen Singla has ordered an inquiry into the matter. Police in Jalandhar village is investigating the case. The deceased's brother and BJP leader Mandeep Bakshi said his brother had been disturbed by the threats for the past 10 years.

Dharamveer Bakshi had also said in a live video that the Congress government was harassing him. He had named Pushpa Bali, a police officer, saying that he is a "goonda" and keeps harassing people without complaining. He had named these people, including the Congress MLA, and said that if I die, they will be responsible for it. He had said that he runs a gaushala, does not sell any opium, but whenever Pushpa Bali comes, he is hit by two sticks and goes away. He had also accused Surendra Chaudhary of raising people. He said, "I love Gaumata." Therefore, you cannot see them becoming homeless with your own eyes.
