Gautam Adani gets 'Z-category' security after HM acts on IB report

NEW DELHI: The Union government has determined to give 'Z category' security to the country's top industrialist Gautam Adani. This decision has been taken on the basis of a report sent by the Intelligence Bureau.  It is after the Home Ministry acts on the IB report,  that Gautam Adani receives "Z category" security.

According to sources in the Home Ministry, the government has given Adani high-level security, which he will pay for himself, based on the threat perception report it obtained from the IB. The nation's leading industrialist, Gautam Adani, would now have "Z category" protection, according to the Central government. Based on a report supplied by the Intelligence Bureau, this conclusion has been made (IB).

More than 30 army men will reportedly be used to provide the top businessman in India with security, according to reports.

Adani has been listed among the richest industrialists in the world, and the shares of the Adani Group have seen a dramatic increase in recent days.

The Ministry of Home Affairs previously provided industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani with "Z" protection, which they are paying for its cost themselves
