New Delhi: A video of Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot reprimanding some officers for malfunctioning an AC at a government office in the capital is going viral on social media. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also shared the video from his Twitter account on Saturday.

According to the information received, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot had arrived on Friday to inspect the office of the SDM and sub-registrar present in East Delhi's Preet Vihar. Due to this, Gehlot found the AC installed for the common people there closed amid the heat, so he got angry with the officers. The minister reprimanded that the AC should be removed from the rooms of officers and put it in place for the people recently. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has shared this video on its Twitter account as well.

Gehlot also expressed displeasure over the employees not working on time. He also gave strict instructions to the officers to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the people coming to the government offices. The Aam Aadmi Party leader asked who is the SDM here? In the 59-second video clip, Gehlot can be heard asking an officer if we should remove the AC from your rooms as well. The AC in your room will work, it's great, but the public will tolerate the heat. Then, he asked the SDM about the matter, "To whom have you complained about it?" How many letters have you written to me? He said that the AC should be removed from the rooms of the officers and installed recently for the people. The Transport Minister tweeted, "Arvind Kejriwal ji says it is our duty to provide facilities to the people and if the public is suffering, then appropriate action will also be taken. "
