Berlin: The Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, warned on Saturday that the coronavirus epidemic is far from over, and its havoc at the local level has increased the risk of a second round of pandemics. At the same time, after the arrival of more than 18 thousand new cases of coronavirus infection in India, the number of infected people has increased to more than five lakh and it has come in fourth place after America, Brazil and Russia in the case of infected people.

Along with this, Egypt and Britain have said that they will relax the restrictions related to the virus while cases of infection are increasing in small scale in the capitals of China and South Korea. Merkel said in her weekly video podcast that her primary goal would be to bring Europe's economy back on track when Germany takes over the leadership of the European Union next week.

German authorities imposed lockdowns in a western region with a population of about 5 million last week after about 1,300 butchers eating coronavirus were found positive. Its purpose is to avoid the outbreak of epidemic in this area. According to the table of John Hopkins University, so far in Germany, 1,95,000 people have been found to be corona virus positive, out of which 9,000 have died. During this period, more than 1,77,000 people have been cured.
