Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal criticized Bollywood today or Saturday. Recently he said that it did not stand in favor of Punjab at a time when the state was most in need of his support amidst the demonstrations of the farmers. Yes, farmers are agitating at the moment. The farmers of Haryana, Punjab and other states are currently standing on the borders of Delhi in protest against the new agricultural laws of the Center. Meanwhile, many Punjabi stars have supported the farmers. In this sequence, Gippy Grewal has tweeted.

In this tweet, he wrote that, 'Dear Bollywood, Every now and then your movies have been shot in Punjab & everytime you have been welcomed with open heart. But today when Punjab needs u the most, u didn't show up and speak a word. "On this tweet, singer Jaswinder Singh Bains 'Jozi B' supported him. He tweeted and wrote, "Those whose conscience is alive are coming in support."

Responding to Gippy's tweet, Taapsee Pannu wrote, 'There are artists in Bollywood who have always been vocal on controversial issues including farmers' performances and their general comment is 'discouraging'. " By the way, let us tell you that apart from Taapsee, many Bollywood stars including Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha, Sonu Sood, Hansal Mehta, Mohammad Jishan Ayub, Divya Dutt and Neha Sharma are in support of farmers.
