Patna: Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Giriraj Singh expressed confidence in the party's victory in Bihar under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that the ongoing Lok Sabha election results would come as a shock to opposition leaders. Singh also targeted former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Yadav's governance in Bihar, calling him a "Nautanki master" who deceived the people of the state.

Singh affirmed that the country needs Modi, asserting that PM Narendra Modi would secure victory in Bihar. He criticized Lalu Yadav's tenure in 1995, accusing him of deceiving the people. Singh emphasized that the opposition would be surprised when they see the Lok Sabha election results.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking a third consecutive term from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh, filed his nomination papers. As the sitting MP and BJP candidate, PM Modi submitted his nomination papers at Varanasi's magistrate's office.

In his address, PM Modi took a swipe at the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal, labeling them "slaves of appeasement." He vowed not to allow the looting of reservations for Dalits and backward classes. PM Modi characterized the ongoing Lok Sabha elections as a resolve for a developed India, stating that he was tirelessly working for the year 2047. He claimed that there was a storm in favor of the BJP and NDA across the country.

PM Modi highlighted the suffering of the people of Muzaffarpur and Bihar due to Naxalism over decades. He blamed RJD's Jungle Raj for pushing Bihar back several decades. Bihar, with 40 seats, is witnessing polling across all seven phases. In 2019, the BJP-led NDA secured victory by winning 39 out of 40 seats, while the Congress managed to win just one seat. Despite being a formidable force in the state, the RJD failed to win a single seat.
