In the lockdown against the epidemic, all the routes leading to the playground for the players are closed. The need to retain the sports talent of the players and keep them connected to the sport has further enhanced the importance of online sports competitions. After online football juggling competition in Meerut, taping hockey tournament is being organized for hockey players. The first online tapping hockey tournament is being organized by the District Hockey Association and Mahavir Educational Park for girl players.

Two minute video has to be sent: Girl hockey players from all over the country can participate in Mahavir Girls Hockey Challenge Cup. Players have to make a two-minute video to participate in the taping hockey competition and send it to the organizers. In this video, the players have to show their performance by holding the hockey stick with one hand and keeping the air in the ball for two minutes. Those who tap for the longest time and without falling will be selected for the final competition. Players should keep in mind that only one time tapping should appear in a video. Once dropped, it will not be counted on starting the second time. So test your performance properly before sending the taping video.

The top 10 will be selected: Out of the players who send videos in the online taping tournament of hockey, the top 10 players will be selected on the basis of performance. After choosing the top 10 players, live combat and demonstration will be seen through online video calling between them. The player who performs the best taping in two minutes during the live performance in the top ten will be chosen as the winner. The first coming player in the tournament will be given Rs 3100, the second placed player will get Rs 2100 and the third place winner will get Rs 1100.

Video to be sent by 14 June: Girls players participating in hockey taping tournament have to make their video by 14 June and send it through WhatsApp. On June 15, the performance of the top ten players from all the videos will be screened. On June 16, the judges will see the talent of the top ten players online. Players can WhatsApp their videos on 9412109135, 7078964369 and 8126771006 mobile numbers. The organizing committee is headed by Monika Sharma, Secretary District Hockey Association Secretary Pradeep Chinyoti, Patron Pawan Tomar, Secretary General National Hockey Player Mamta Yadav and Co-Secretary Hockey Player Shivani Sharma.
