Dehradun: As the political turmoil over the upcoming assembly elections in five states has increased considerably, as the date of the elections is approaching, more than one action of the leaders is also coming to the fore to woo the voters. Congress candidate Dhani Lal Shah, who is trying his luck from the Ghansali assembly seat of Tehri Garhwal, is thus seeking votes in his assembly constituency. The 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand will go to the polls on February 14, while the counting of votes will take place on March 10. The term of the 70-seat Uttarakhand Assembly ends on March 23, 2022. Here, congress, BJP as well as AAP, bsp and many small parties are going to try their luck. However, the Uttarakhand elections remain the most challenging for the BJP, as the practice of changing power every five years for two decades has been going on here. In such a situation, Congress is fully hopeful that it will come back to power.
