India is celebrating 125 Anniversary of  India’s First Law Minister, and a Bharat Ratna Awardee (1990), Known as Messiah for Dalit Dr.BhimRao Ambedkar had a very tough life in his childhood. There was a time when his teachers did not use to touch his notebooks, he alone sit on floor in the corner of his class and now after 125th anniversary whole India is working the law described by him. Isn’t enough of his victory over the discrimation he faced in the journey of his life?

Starting from Baba Saheb Earlier Life the Diamond State of India got a one more diamond on April 14,1891 Mhow (Madhya Pradesh). Being a part of “untouchable” Maratha caste he had a tough life in his childhood but he did not quit and carve himself to do something for not him but for the whole Dalit community.

It was his adolescence Age (1908) when he completed his matriculation and other degree in Political Science, Economics from Bombay  University. 1913 was a bad year for him when he lost his father but then in the same year when he was awarded with the scholarship by the Maharaja of Baroda strengthen him. He later went to America for his further studies and then to London. Unfortunately, his scholarship was terminated by the Baroda Government. He came back and started working as political secretary of Baroda’s Maharaja at the time. Coming to his political life Poona Pact Controversie was a  popular one.

To save life of depressed class he took a tough decision to follow electoral process that was opposed by the Indian National Congress, even Mahatma Gandhi went on fast onto death, they tried to convince him that in 20 years position of depressed class will definitely be changed, but he was not to satisfied with only a statement. Sir Tej Bahadur Sapru a prestigious lawyer of his time made a settlement popularly known as Poona Pact (1932) which was agreed  by Dr.Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Gandhi Ji, which offered dalit or depressed people special treatment on education, job sectors.

Pact provides reservation to dalit and a satisfactory place in the INDIAN CONSTITUTION. He became First Law Minister of Independent India In 1947 when India was celebrating its Independence Day, Bhim Rao Ambedkar become the Father of Indian Constitution and chosen as first law Minister of Independent India. He played an important role to give India a proper structured Law.

On this 125th anniversary of him we all Indian are thankful to him to gave us a law which is a combination of different laws just like the culture of our India is, full of colourful traditions.
