Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc in all the countries across the globe.  According to Johns Hopkins University, the worldwide cases have surpassed the grim milestone of 90 million cases and 1.93 million deaths.

The COVID-19 Dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), reported that the cases worldwide stand at 90,216,381 and as many as 1,933,487 people have succumbed to the pathogen worldwide. As many as 49,953,438 patients who tested positive for the virus have recovered from the virus.

The United States continues to be the most-affected country in the world by the corona pandemic reporting 22,377,230 cases of the coronavirus and 374,008 deaths across the country. Over 27,000 new COVID-19 deaths have been reported in the US in the first 10 days of 2021, citing data from Johns Hopkins University. With 16,311 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, India has recorded the lowest single-day case spike since June 23. The virus testing on Sunday at 6.59 lakh was also the lowest since the third week of August. Active cases  further dropped to 2.2 lakh.
