The Roman Catholic Church has announced to stop prayer services in all the churches in the state of Goa. The reason for this is the public curfew is being considered on Sunday. Let us know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed for 'Janata curfew' on 22 March due to the increasing spread of Coronavirus. That is, all people have been requested to stay at home.

For your information, let us tell you that after this appeal, the Delhi Metro has also been declared closed. Keeping in mind the public curfew, it has been decided to cancel all the prayers of Goa Catholic on Sunday. The Roman Catholic Charch pastor Philip Neri Farrow has issued circulars for this in churches of all states.

It is believed that in this circular, the churches of all the states have been requested to keep all services online in view of the rising outbreak of Coronavirus. On the circular issued on Saturday, Pastor Philipp Neri said that keeping in view the call of Janata curfew by the government on March 22, all the chief priests should not celebrate any kind of mass celebration in the places of worship on Sunday. However, some church chiefs have prayed to continue not to gather much crowds.
