Panaji: Corona cases are constantly increasing in the country. Regarding Corona, Goa CM Pramod Sawant has said that "Community transmission of Corona has started in the state. New cases of coronavirus are rapidly coming out from different parts of the state. 44 cases have been reported in a day. After this, the number of patients in Goa has reached 1,039. While the state has got 667 active cases."

Pramod Sawant has said, 'We accept that community transmission has started in the state. But some common sources of infection are known. The state government started a rigorous standard operating procedure in the past. Under which people entering the state had to get their corona tested or stay home quarantine for 14 days. There are Mangalore Hill in Vasco and Morlem Village Containment Zone in Sattari Taluka, while many other areas in the state are small containment zones."

There have been 1039 infected cases in Goa. While there are 44 new cases and 2 people died of corona. 370 people discharged, 667 are active cases. So far, corona investigation of 60,305 people has been done. According to covid19india.org, now the number of coronavirus patients in the country has exceeded 5 lakhs. While 5024 new corona cases have been confirmed in Maharashtra, 3460 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the national capital.
