Bengaluru: Ahead of the Karnataka assembly elections, the political tussle over the name of Tipu Sultan seems to be increasing. BSP MP from UP's Amroha Lok Sabha seat Danish Ali has released a video on social media calling himself a follower of Tipu Sultan and Godse as a terrorist. This video of Danish Ali is going viral on social media.

In the video going viral on social media, Danish Ali is seen saying at present I am at the tomb of Tipu Sultan, the first freedom fighter of India. He further says that I am proud that I am a follower of Tipu Sultan. Danish Ali is also seen challenging the BJP Karnataka president in a video going viral on social media.

Danish Ali has said that he wants to challenge those who are followers of Godse, followers of that terrorist. He has said that he wants to challenge Nalin Kateel from the tomb of Tipu Sultan and that he is a follower of Tipu Sultan. Danish Ali has also said that he is ready to fight the ideological battle with the followers of Godse. It may be noted that recently the Karnataka BJP President, during a program, had called upon the people to send Tipu Sultan's followers to the forest. The Karnataka BJP president had said that it is up to you to decide whether you are with the devotees of Ram, the devotees of Hanuman, or the followers of Tipu Sultan. He also asked the question that will you not send the followers of Tipu Sultan to the jungle? MP from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, Danish Ali has now challenged the Karnataka BJP President regarding this.
