Lucknow: Abbas Ansari, son of UP mafia don Mukhtar Ansari and MLA, is in threat of life in Kasganj jail. Bhai Umar Ansari has written a letter to the Principal Secretary of the UP Government demanding security for Abbas. He has also expressed apprehension of a conspiracy to get Abbas Ansari killed through Kuntu Singh, who is lodged in Kasganj jail. 

Umar Ansari has written a letter to the Principal Secretary of the Government of Uttar Pradesh asking him to change the jail of Abbas Ansari from Kasganj. They have demanded that Abbas Ansari be transferred from Kasganj Jail to any other District Jail or Central Jail located on the border of UP. In the famous Ajit Singh murder case of Lucknow, Dhruv Singh alias Kuntu Singh was said to be the mastermind. Along with the Ajit Singh murder case, Kuntu Singh's name figured in the broad daylight murder of former BSP MLA Sarvesh alias Sipu Singh in 2013. 

Kuntu Singh is currently lodged in Kasganj Jail. At the same time, MLA Abbas Ansari has also been sent to Kasganj jail 3 days back. It is noteworthy that in criminal cases, MLA Abbas Ansari was lodged in Chitrakoot Jail, where his wife Nikhat Ansari was recently arrested for meeting him illegally, while Abbas was shifted from Chitrakoot to Kasganj Jail.
