Ravinder Kapoor (15 December 1940 - 3 March 2011) aka popularly known as Goga Kapoor, was an Indian film actor who appeared in most Bollywood films. He has acted in more than 120 films, known for playing supporting roles of villain's henchmen or gangsters. He is also remembered for his role as Kans in the popular TV serial Mahabharata, Dukar Shaan Singh in the film Storm, Dinkar Rao in the 1990 film Agneepath and Don in the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. His other notable works include films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Run.
Kapoor has acted in several English plays while he started his career. He gradually became a theater actor, working in English plays. Later when his acting skills were recognized, he was offered a small but important role in Jwala, which was released in 1971. Soon, he started getting many regional film offers, but later he stopped working in regional films. Two years later, he returned to Bollywood from the film Ek Kunwari Ek Kunwara, in which he again played a negative role.
Subsequently, he mainly portrayed villain roles. He has also worked in a successful epic serial Mahabharata. His last film was Darwaza Bandh Rakho. Kapoor died on 3 March 2011 in Mumbai after a prolonged illness at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
