New Delhi: Gold prices rose by Rs 391 to Rs 42,616 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday, amid positive international trend. According to HDFC Securities, silver also rose by Rs 713 to Rs 46,213 per kg. Earlier on Saturday, gold had closed at Rs 42,225 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 45,500 per kg.

HDFC Securities has said that the price of 999 and 995 pure gold rose by Rs 440-440 in Delhi to Rs 43,250 per 10 grams and Rs 43,100 per 10 grams respectively. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel has said that "According to Tickerplant, the rise in the price of gold in the international market had an impact on the 24-carat gold price in Delhi and rose by Rs 391.
