New Delhi: If you are planning to buy gold, there is good news for you. Gold and silver fell for the third day in a row today. Gold fell 193 rupees per ten grams to open today, according to a website by the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association. After this fall, gold is trading at Rs 47,010 per ten grams. Gold and silver fell today. Silver fell 1087 rupees per kilo to open today. Silver is currently trading at Rs 63,362 per kg after the fall.

Gold, as well as silver prices, are also declining on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold was trading at Rs 46,860 per 10 grams at a cheaper 178 rupees on MCX today. Silver fell 497 rupees, to 63,686 rupees per kg. Earlier, gold had closed at Rs 47,534 on Monday, Rs 47,246 on Tuesday, and Rs 47,203 per 10 grams on Wednesday. Silver closed at Rs 64,957 on Monday, Rs 64,135, and Rs 64,449 per kg on Tuesday.

Today, the price of 24 carat gold in Delhi is Rs 48,060 while 22 carats are selling at Rs 44,055. Similarly, in Mumbai, the price of 24 carats is Rs 48,140, while that of 22 carats is Rs 44,128. In Kolkata, the price of 24-carat gold is 48,080 while 22 carats are selling at Rs 44,073. In Chennai, the price of 24 carats 10 grams of gold is 48,280 and that of 22 carats is Rs 44,257 per 10 grams.
