Relief to general public for 4th consecutive day, 'Good News' on Petrol-Diesel prices

New Delhi: People are in a bad shape due to the ever-rising prices of petrol and diesel. The opposition has been constantly cornering the government over the issue after the way petrol and diesel prices have skyrocketed. Meanwhile, petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged this week and there has been no hike in petrol and diesel prices for the fourth consecutive day.

Petrol price in Delhi on Thursday is Rs 101.19 per litre and diesel price is Rs 88.62 per litre. Coming to Mumbai, petrol costs Rs 107.26 and diesel Rs 96.19 per litre. Petrol is priced at Rs 98.96 per litre and diesel at Rs 93.26 per litre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In Kolkata, petrol prices are Rs 101.62 per litre and diesel at Rs 91.71 per litre.

Petrol is being sold at Rs 104.70 and diesel at Rs 94.04 per litre in Bengaluru. Apart from these metropolitan cities, petrol prices have reached more than Rs.100 per litre in many cities across the country. Petrol price in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal has gone up to Rs 109.63 per litre while diesel price is Rs 97.57 per litre.
