Patna: A big incident of theft is coming out from Bihar, where gold worth 1 crore has been stolen from a moving train. One crore gold jewelery (2 kg gold) and two lakh rupees cash of a Rajasthan businessman went missing from the moving train. This incident happened on Kamakhya Express between Arrah to Patna. However, the police are finding this matter suspicious in the investigation. The businessman is being questioned.

Manoj Kumar Jain, a businessman of the Nagaur district of Rajasthan, has filed a case at the railway station at Patna Junction. Manoj does business in Tapan Nagar, Assam. He had two bags. Two kg of gold was kept in one and two lakh rupees in cash in the other. The businessman told the police that the stolen jewelery was his family property. They were taking it to be distributed among 100 Patidars. He kept two bags under his head. Both the bags were there. Thereafter, the bags were stolen. In-charge Rail SP Anil Kumar said that a case has been registered on the basis of the statement of the businessman.

After this incident came to the fore, the police scrutinized the CCTV footage. So far no suspects are seen carrying the bag in the footage. Police are busy checking the cameras installed at Patna Junction and Arrah Railway Station. Many types of questions have started arising regarding this incident of theft. The police team is also investigating the aspect of embezzlement. The railway station chief said that every time the businessman is changing his statement. The matter will be clear only after the completion of the inquiry and investigation.
