Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken a major decision to determine sports quota in all government jobs. For this, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting of the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare in the Ministry. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and departmental officers were present.

The same CM Shivraj said that every village should have a playground for children. Plan to develop playgrounds in collaboration with rural development. There is no dearth of money. Tournaments should be started in the name of CM and in the name of MLA. Keep the different activities of the game going on. Incomplete sports structures should be corrected.

 

 

It has been decided that construction of International Sports Complex at Nathu Barkheda in Bhopal will be started. Similarly, an International Sports Science Centre will also be set up in Bhopal as an innovation. There has also been talk of the construction of 11 international level hockey turfs to encourage hockey games in the state. Instructions have been given to build a sports complex and archery centre at Jobat, stadium at Garatganj, mini stadium at Chitrangi, pavilion at Gotegaon and sports complex at Katni. The Chief Minister has ordered to make a proposal for this.
