You all know today is Children's Day. In such a situation, Google has prepared a beautiful and colorful doodle to celebrate Children's Day. You must be aware that Google often celebrates a particular day through its Doodle and this time the doodle that Google has created is going to be heart touching. Yes, first of all, let us tell you that on November 14, the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, is celebrated as Children's Day and celebrates this day as Children's Day. This is because he loved children and children used to call him as Chacha Nehru.

On the other hand, Children's Day is said to be a national festival of India dedicated to children and now today Google has wished the children a happy children's day with their doodles. Seven mountains, rivers, birds and trees of children's shoes can also be seen in this doodle and all are looking very beautiful. Let us tell you all that Uncle Nehru died on 27 May 1964 and every year since 2009, Google hosts a competition 'Doodle 4 Google' on Children's Day. With this, the theme of this year for Google Doodle Contest is "When I grow up, I hope…".

Let us also tell you that India used to celebrate Children's Day on November 20 every year before 1956, but the United Nations announced in 1954 that this day would be made as Universal Children's Day. After the death of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964, a resolution was unanimously passed in Parliament in which 14 November was declared as National Children's Day.
