Google Doctor Appointment Feature: According to the news, Google is working on a feature that will allow users to book an appointment with the doctor near them through Google Search. It is being said that Google is working with MinuteClinic of CVS and many others. It has also been revealed that this new feature of Google will be introduced in a few weeks.
How it works: An official blog post from Google says that after the release of this feature, users can get their annual checkups done, after shifting to a new place, they will be able to find a new doctor and if they want, they can also book an appointment for the same day. You'll be able to do all this with one click on Google Search. Doing a Google search will show an option of 'Book' from the search engine, clicking on which will take the user to a third-party site. At the moment, this feature is only going to be offered in English.
Who can use it: Not only that, Google's Chief Health Officer, Dr Karen DeSalvo, speaks about the fact that the release of this feature is about to be started. He says that right now Google is going to take many more doctors and health providers along in this feature. This feature is currently going to be offered only for the US market. At the moment, no information has been revealed about how long this feature can be launched in India.
