USA: Google  is constantly working to enhance the Workspace apps' user experience. In order to make it easier for users to find what they need, the company is currently introducing a "enhanced tool finder" in Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

In order to "make it easier for users to discover commonly used tools and features," Google said of the new feature. Let's examine the tool finder's usage.

The enhanced tool finder is located at the very top of Docs, Sheets, and Slides. A contextual menu can be created using the feature. The tool finder in Docs, Sheets, or Slides will display the most pertinent and helpful tools when you choose a specific element. Finding what you're looking for is challenging due to the bloated nature of menus. The toolfinder serves as a search engine. Just a few letters can be typed to locate the desired tool.

To find what you're looking for, you can also enter your own search terms. For example, if you type "who last modified this document," the Activity Hub will open.

The Docs, Sheets, and Slides toolbar includes a search bar that serves as the tool finder. The tool finder will display recommendations for common actions as soon as you open it after creating a new file.

For instance, in Docs, Page setup, Dropdown, and Meeting notes; in Sheets, Insert rows and columns, merge cells, and freeze rows and columns; and in Word, Page setup, Spell check, and Edit theme in slides

Recent actions are displayed when you click the tool finder while editing a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. Additionally, it will make it simpler for you to access previous tools. The 'Find & Replace' tool can also be activated by it.
