Google has announced a change in the app and browsing settings to protect users' personal data. Under this, Google will introduce auto delete control by default, which will automatically delete the users' location, search history, voice and Youtube activities every three months. Meaning that every three months the search history of Google users will be updated and users will get a new better content recommendation.

According to Google, the user's existing settings will not be tampered with. But for this change, the first message will go to the users. Only after this, the data will be deleted. Meaning users will have the option to keep their old important data secure. Also, users will be given the option to make changes in the auto-delete option and turn it off. Location history will remain off as a default for Google's first-time users and the auto-delete option will be set for 18 months. The web and app activity for the new account will be auto delete for 18 months as the default. Meaning that the web and app activity of the new account will be deleted every 18 months.

Google's new change will affect the data security of users. Google will help to know the taste and search of users better. This will send better content suggestions to product users like Google and YouTube. Youtube sends content recommendation based on users search. Meaning if you like an actor more, then Google and Youtube send you suggestions for its shows, web series and music.
