Facebook, which is a part of the Meta company, keeps bringing new features for its users from time to time. Now Meta has decided to make some big changes in the Facebook monetization program. According to the new update, now only one monetization program has been introduced on the platform instead of three creator monetization. This will make it easier for creators to earn than before.

Existing Monetization Policy

Under the current monetization policy on Facebook, creators could earn money in three ways:

Earning based on ads
reels performance

But Meta has now made it simpler. Under the new monetization policy, creators now have to apply for monetization only once. After this, they can monetize the platform in any way they want.

Creators' problem:  Meta recently informed that at present creators were not able to earn to their full potential from the platform. Keeping this problem in mind, Meta has announced a new monetization program.

How will the new monetization program work?:  According to Meta, the new monetization program will work just like the existing program. Creators will be able to earn through different types of content such as videos, long videos, photos, text photos and reels. Apart from this, Meta will also provide a new inside tab to the creators. In this, creators will be able to easily keep data of earnings from different content formats. Under this new program, creators will also be able to know how much money has been earned from which post or video.

Available on beta version

At present, Meta's new monetization program is available on beta version, but it will soon be implemented for everyone. It is expected that about 1 million creators will be added to it, who are already present on the platform and are earning. Facebook's new monetization program can be a big relief for the creators. With this, they will be able to easily increase their earnings and earn money through different types of content. This move of Meta is a positive step towards giving better reward to the creators for their hard work.
