New Delhi: Google is reportedly gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of its next-generation smartphones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, slated for release in the autumn of 2023. According to a recent report from Android Authority, these upcoming devices will feature larger batteries and faster charging capabilities compared to their predecessors.

Rumours suggest that the Pixel 8 will be equipped with a robust 4,485mAh battery, while the Pixel 8 Pro will boast an even more substantial 4,950mAh battery. This represents a notable increase in battery capacity when compared to the Pixel 7's 4,270mAh battery and the Pixel 7 Pro's 4,614mAh battery.

In addition to the enhanced battery performance, both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are rumored to support accelerated charging speeds. The Pixel 8 is expected to feature 24W wired charging, while the Pixel 8 Pro will supposedly support 27W wired charging. These advancements mark a significant upgrade over the Pixel 7's 20W wired charging and the Pixel 7 Pro's 23W wired charging capabilities.
