Lucknow: Murtaza Abbasi, accused of attacking PAC jawans in the famous Gorakhnath temple of Gorakhpur, is continuously tightening the noose. ATS has also intensified its investigation. To investigate Murtaza's birth chart, the ATS team also reached his in-laws' house, Jaunpur, where Abbasi's wife was also questioned. Earlier, the investigation team also searched the house of Murtaza Abbasi, from where they got the airgun. It is being told that for the last few days, Abbasi was learning shooting from the airgun in the terrace and empty space in the house itself.

Let us inform that Murtaza Abbasi was married in 2019 with Umme Salma alias Shadma, daughter of Muzaffarul Haq, a resident of Sabzi Mandi in the city. Giving information to the investigation team, Muzaffarul Haque has told that my daughter was married to Murtaza Abbasi on June 1, 2019, but Abbasi's mother used to harass my daughter. That's why we called the daughter back to our house on September 2019, a few days after the marriage. Murtaza's wife Ummi Salma said on the question of Murtaza's connection with the terrorist organization that, there was nothing in my time. His mother used to harass me. He used to talk very little with me. On the question of watching Zakir Naik's video, Salma said that she never mentioned it in front of me, but sometimes used to watch the video. Mom used to bother sometimes.

Let us inform that two cases have been registered against Abbasi in the case of attack on the security personnel posted outside the temple. The first case was registered by Inspector Manoj Kumar Singh of Gorakhnath police station under section 7CLA, crime no 60/2022, robbery, attempt to murder. The second case has been registered by Vinay Kumar Mishra, head constable of PAC, posted in the security of the temple. According to the police, not one but three sharp weapons were recovered from the accused Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi. Ahmed had entered the temple with two bankers and a knife. He attacked with a bank. The second banker and the knife were hidden in the bag.
