New Delhi: In the war against the coronavirus havoc, PM Modi has announced a 21-day lockdown of the entire country. This lockdown has started at 12 pm on Tuesday night, which will remain in force for the next 21 days. Hence, there are doubts among people about which services will be banned and which services will continue. PM Modi also told people not to panic during his speech. After PM Modi's address, the Home Ministry has released a guide line in this regard.

There will be a ban on these services: -

All transport services - road, rail and air - will remain closed during lockdown
All shops except grocery and medicine will remain closed.
All educational institutions including hotels, motels, religious places will also be closed.
Public places like malls, halls, gyms, spas, sports clubs will remain closed.

Bhopal: These shops remain open even after lockdown


These services will be restored: -

Banks, insurance offices, print and electronic media will remain open
Hospital, Nursing Home, Police, Fire Station, ATM will continue
The delivery of medicine, medical treatment through e-commerce will continue.
Petrol pumps, LPG pumps, gas retail will be operational.
Internet, broadcast and cable service will continue.
