Damoh: A big news is coming out from Madhya Pradesh, where the government has increased the compensation amount from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 8 lakh for the loss of life due to wild animals. Rs 266.78 crore has been approved for opening a medical college in Damoh district. There will be 100 MBBS seats in this college. These decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
After the meeting, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that Rs 85.35 crore has been approved for the renovation and modification of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company. This amount will be used to improve and upgrade the power grid system. Litterateurs, artists will now get assistance up to Rs 1 lakh.
The Financial Assistance Welfare Fund of the Department of Culture has been amended to help litterateurs and artists die due to serious illness or accident. The Cabinet has also decided to make permanent 6474 temporary posts in narmada valley project. The Cabinet has also approved the proposal to amend the Startup Policy.
