Ranchi: A meeting of the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand was held on Thursday. A total of 63 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting. In this meeting, the Soren government has given many big gifts to the capital Ranchi. In this, a gift of 337 crores 50 lakhs has been given for 4 flyovers. This budget will lead to a four-lane flyover from Sirom Toli Chowk to Mecon via Rajendra Chowk, with a length of 2.34 km and an expenditure of Rs 337 crore.

The budget session of the Jharkhand assembly has been convened from February 25, 2022. According to media reports, the dearness allowance of contract workers has been increased from 113 per cent to 196 per cent in the cabinet meeting. The honorarium of teachers in 203 Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas in the state was increased by 20%. In addition, it has been decided to open 17 Krishak Pathshalas in the state.

The Jharkhand cabinet meeting has approved the proposal of tripartite MoU under the Jharkhand Forest Dwellers Act, 2006. Along with this, amendments to the Jharkhand Government Servants Classification Control Appeal Rules, 2016 were also approved. Hemant Sarkar has sanctioned Rs 68 crore for road construction from Gandhi Chowk in Dumka to Karbinda Chowk. 63 crore was allowed to improve the riding quality of the 91-km road between Jamtara and Govindpur. In addition, 64 crores were sanctioned for Bhandara Senha Path.
