Governor Anandiben Patel will himself keep an eye on the ongoing works for rejuvenation of 8 ambitious (most backward) districts of Uttar Pradesh, the political stronghold of India. After seeing the presentation of the works done so far, she said that she will stay for 2 days in all 8 districts to monitor and review the works. When Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave her the details of the work done in each area and told that Uttar Pradesh is second in the country, the Governor hoped that UP should be No. 1.

On Thursday, the Governor and the Chief Minister reviewed the work being done on 6 indices in the 8 backward districts at Lok Bhavan. The Governor laid special emphasis on education and health. Teachers will monitor dropout rate. Such children should be brought back to school. The governor also instructed for the training of teachers for the quality of education. He said that the farmers of Fatehpur are doing organic farming. Make them available to the market.

In his statement, the governor said that 8 districts of the state are included in the most backward districts. To improve their condition, good work has been done under the 6 indexes prescribed. Due to this, the state is in second place. Yogi instructed the officials to do data feeding in time. The Principal Secretary and Secretary should review the work of their respective departments every fortnight. The Chief Minister also gave details of the work done so far under the 6 indexes to the Governor. The instructions were given to the officials to determine the program of the proposed migration of the governor from January 15 onwards. A 'Mid-Term Status' booklet was also released in connection with the transformation program of ambitious districts. Chief Secretary RK Tiwari, Principal Secretary Chief Minister SP Goyal, and Secretary Sanjay Prasad were also present on the occasion.
