Preparations begin for PM Modi's address on August 15, suggestions sought from ministries

New Delhi: PM Modi will address the nation for the seventh time on August 15 from the Red Fort, but this time the theme of the program of the Red Fort would be slightly changed. With Corona, social distancing will be followed, as well as the list of guests would be short. There can be a change in the seating arrangement of ministers and ambassadors and their families.

The most important on headlines would be PM Modi's speech. Every year, the speech is delivered with great enthusiasm, speech would suggest initiatives for the future welfare of the country including achievements of the government in six years of leadership. For this, the government has started preparations and according to sources, the PMO has asked for inputs and suggestions from all ministries. Ministries are requested to send a list of the announcements made by PM Modi related to their domain and group in the last 6 years, to get the status of work done on the same.

In 500 words, a list of such big accomplishments and achievements of Ministries has been sought, which created a direct impact on the lives of people and has changed lives. All the Ministries are instructed to suggest in Hindi and English both. Hard copy and soft copy of the suggestions are sought. On July 14, till this date, all ministries have been asked to send their suggestions through the mail.
