New Delhi: These days the whole of North India is struggling with the cold of winter, while the fog has reduced visibility. Because of which road accidents are happening in many places, in which people are losing their lives. One such incident has emerged from Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. Due to dense fog, a car slipped on the road and fell into a canal, killing six people, including two minors.

While giving information about the accident on Monday, the police said that five other people in the car were also injured. The accident occurred late around 11:30 pm on Sunday. Giving information about the accident, a police spokesman said that "11 people were sitting in the car." The car fell into the Kherali Canal in the Dhankaur area due to fog. All 11 people were rushed to the hospital where six of them were declared dead by the doctors while five others are being treated.

The official said it seemed that the accident occurred due to low visibility due to dense fog. According to the police, this car was accompanied by another car and all the people were going from Sambhal district to the capital Delhi. He said that the dead have been identified as Mahesh (35), Kishan Lal (50), Neeresh (17), Ram Khel (75), Mallu (12) and Netrapal (40). Police said that the matter is being investigated.
