Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias to start India visit today

Athens: On Tuesday, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will begin his journey to India, where he will meet with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar. After Jaishankar's travel to Athens on June 26, 2021, the visit will take place.

Dendias and Jaishankar are likely to discuss matters such as the two countries' common commitment to the UN Charter and the International Law of the Sea, according to the Greek Foreign Ministry.

The two ministers are also expected to talk on the situation in Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific area, the Eastern Mediterranean, and other international issues.

During his visit to New Delhi, the Greek Foreign Minister will meet with M Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. Dendias will also speak at the Jawaharlal Nehru University's Chair of Greek Studies (JNU).
