The third phase of lockdown starts on May 4. Along with this, this is going to be a big relief in the 10 districts of Green Zone of Uttarakhand from May 4. At the same time, the center has made big concessions in the green zone. Apart from this, partial relief has been given in two Orange Zone districts of the state, Dehradun and Nainital. Only essential services or pre-paid concessions will be available in Haridwar district of Red Zone. At the same time, the list of districts of Green, Orange and Red Zone was released by the Center on Friday, in which Uttarakhand has got a big relief. Ten districts of the state, Uttarkashi, Tehri, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Almora, US Nagar, Rudraprayag, Champawat, Pithoragarh and Pauri have been kept in the Green Zone. Several concessions have been made in the guidelines issued by the Union Home Ministry on Friday evening for the third phase of lockdown from May 4 to May 17.

For your information, let us tell you  that under this new arrangement, concessions like opening of green zone shop, farming, opening office with 33 percent attendance, operating industry, transport services, taxi services are being given. Only one district in the state Haridwar is in the Red Zone. In which there will be strictness. At the same time, the state government is waiting for the guidelines issued by the Center. After this, instructions will be issued to all the District Magistrates for compliance. At the same time, orders to increase the lockdown have been received from the central government. New guidelines for lockdown will be effective from May 4. The District Magistrates will be instructed to strictly adhere to it under the Central Guidelines. The third phase of lockdown is going to start from May 4. In this regard, the Center has issued comprehensive guidelines. There are considerable concessions in green zone districts.

Economic activities will also be started from this. Government offices have also been allowed to open. A full study of this will be implemented in the state. In the third phase of the lockdown, the Center has given the right to the states to open liquor shops. According to the guidelines issued, conditions have been fixed for opening of shops. But the State Excise Department has not received any order in this regard from the government level. The state is losing several hundred crores every month due to the closure of liquor shops. The Union Forest Environment Ministry has given permission to take out the Lisa from the forests in the state. Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar has confirmed this. The work of extracting Lisa in the state is with the Forest Department. The state government also gets revenue of more than Rs 60 crore from it.
