Jaipur: During Eid (22 April 2023), a video of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video some people are seen offering Namaz on the main road. Many people have captioned this road as the Delhi-Jaipur road. It is alleged that due to this gathering, a 5 kilometer long traffic jam had also taken place. Expressing objection to the inconvenience caused to the general public, the BJP termed it as a violation of the orders of the Supreme Court and the High Court.

According to media reports, the place where this prayer took place is called Idgah area of Jaipur. A large number of Muslims reached here, when they did not get a place, they gathered on the road itself. During this, there was a jam on the Delhi-Jaipur road. Due to the presence of namazis on the road, vehicles came to a standstill for about 5 kms. All the officials of the Jaipur administration were present on the occasion, yet the jam was opened only after the prayer was over, so that people could leave for their respective destinations in a long time.

In the viral video, mats are seen spread on the road. Thousands of worshipers in Islamic costumes are sitting on these mats. During this, a long line of vehicles standing behind can also be seen clearly. Some minors are also seen in the crowd of Namazis. The same video has also been shared by many other media organizations stating that it is of the Delhi-Jaipur route. However, Newstracklive does not verify the viral video.
