Schools to open in Maharashtra from December 1, new guidelines issued

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government is gearing up to open schools in the states from December 1. The state government has now also issued guidelines for schools. From 1st December, the State Government will open schools from Class I to VII. All schools in the state will have to follow the guidelines issued, otherwise, action will be taken.

What is Guideline-

- Two students should have a distance of 6 feet
- Don't do school-crowded activities such as games and group prayer

- School and class will be able to accommodate people who do not have any symbols.
- Non-teaching staff should also be vaccinated
- Biometric attendance system will not be applicable

- Everyone in the school will use masks
- Wash hands from time to time and keep the school clean

- Children or teachers should not come to school if they are not healthy
- Quarantine students will be able to study through online classes.

On the other hand, if more than five children in the same class in the same school are found positive within a period of two weeks, the school will have to follow the plan prescribed for corona prevention. The school will be disinfected from time to time. Moreover, students will not break these rules while going to school or coming from school.
