Gandhinagar: The global epidemic coronavirus outbreak is increasing continuously. Now 11 saints of the world-famous Swaminarayan sect of Gujarat have been found corona infected. All these 11 saints are from the same department of Swaminarayan sect. On giving information, a health official of the country said that there were cases of corona infection in the Swaminarayan temple in the Maninagar area of Gujarat last week. These monks belong to the 'Panth' or sect of Maninagar.
While giving information, Dr. Tejas Shah, Deputy Health Officer of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), has said that out of these 11 saints, 5 saints were living in the premises of Maninagar temple in Ahmedabad, while six saints came from other places and stayed here. Dr. Shah said that all these 11 infected saints are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. He further said that 5 out of 6 sadhus were living in the New Ranip area of Ahmedabad while one monk was staying in nearby Bavla village.
Swami Bhagwatapriyadas of the Maninagar temple has informed the media that the temple complex has been sanitized almost a week after the Corona infection case was detected.
