Ahmedabad: Rain and floods are wreaking havoc in Gujarat. Due to torrential rains for the past three days, normal life has been completely disrupted. Due to rain in the state, 14 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. A total of 83 people have lost their lives so far. The MET department has sounded a high alert for rain in Navsari, Valsad, Gir Somnath and Junagadh.

Let us know that due to the continuous rain in Gujarat for the last 3 days, cities like Navsari, Valsad, Surat, Narmada, Chhota Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Gir Somnath, Dwarika, Rajkot of Saurashtra are facing a lot of problems. In fact, 14 people have been reported to have lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to rain in Gujarat. While 83 people have died due to rain-related accidents this entire season. At the same time, talking about cattle, 487 animals have been washed away in the rain.

At the same time, due to rain,  the administration has declared a holiday in schools in Navsari, Valsad, and Kutch districts as a precautionary measure. More than 30,000 people have been evacuated so far. On the other hand, the MET department has also issued an alert for heavy rain in Navsari, Valsad, Surat, Dang, Junagadh and Gir Somnath districts in the coming 24 hours.
