Ahmedabad: Speculations are rife about the formation of the state cabinet after the appointment of a new CM in Gujarat. According to reports, new faces may find a place within the new government led by Bhupendra Patel. There is talk that 21 to 22 ministers are likely to be sworn in as ministers in the Cabinet today.

According to reports, all the MLAs have been summoned to Gandhinagar. The new cabinet will give priority to new faces and increase the number of women. In such a situation, some old Ministers may be thrown out of the Cabinet. The changes are said to have been made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in view of the assembly elections to be held in the state in December 2022. Bhupendra Patel belongs to the Patidar community. Gujarat BJP spokesperson Yamal Vyas had said on Tuesday that their names will be announced at the swearing-in ceremony of ministers as part of the process. Meanwhile, speculations are rife over if deputy CM Nitin Patel will be placed in the new cabinet or not.

Nitin Patel was the Deputy Chief Minister of the Vijay Rupani-led cabinet. More from our minister, Shri Bhupinder Singh Chudasma, R.C. Faldu, and Kaushik Patel are also being speculated to be retained in the new cabinet. Party sources said efforts will be made to include senior leaders in the cabinet as far as possible.
