Congress leader Indranil Rajguru said that whenever he goes to Somnath on a bus with Hindu devotees and whenever he goes to Ajmer by train with Muslims, he gets equal happiness. Indranil was first elected MLA from the Rajkot assembly constituency in 2012. In 2018, he resigned from the post of Rajkot Congress unit president. Prior to that, he was given a ticket by Congress from the Rajkot West seat. At that time, he was one of the richest candidates of the Congress in Gujarat. At that time, his income was shown in the affidavit as Rs 141 crore. He had given information about a Lamborghini car and 12 vehicles worth Rs 4.5 crore in his property at that time.
