During this time Rajiv Satava, in-charge of Gujarat Congress raised the issue of crop insurance. He said, "Gujarat does not have crop insurance. In many districts and tehsils here, crops were ruined due to rain, but the government did not give compensation. And now through these new agricultural laws, only one company produces agricultural produce of the farmers of the country." They will be able to buy it. It is once again being tried to form the East India Company. We say that these laws should be removed. The Congress Party will always fight in the interest of the farmers. " At the same time, the President of Gujarat Congress Amit Chavda left no stone unturned in making his point.

He futher said- "Due to the anti-farmer policy of the BJP government, the state is suffering a huge economic loss. The BJP government of Gujarat is anti-farmer. Farmers are not getting crop insurance on time. There is anger among the farmers. This anger will take the form of movement. We have called for a bandh on behalf of the farmers' organizations tomorrow, ie on 8 December. Our Congress Party fully supports the farmers. We are with you in the judicial fight of the farmers. "
