Jammu and Kashmir: An infiltration bid has been foiled in Gurez Sector in which four terrorists gun down. Four soldiers including one Army Major have been martyred while foiling an infiltration attempt on Tuesday morning at the Line of Control in Gurez sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district.

 Worth mention here the Army unit challenged the infiltrating militants who fired at the soldiers near the post of 36 Rashtriya Rifles at Govind Nallah on the LoC.

Army officers said that at least four terrorists managed to run away and are believed to have fled back to Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. The militants were trying to break into under the cover of heavy firing by the Pakistani Army.

The bodies of the two slain terrorists have been spotted.

Neighbouring country Pakistan has once again violated the ceasefire on the border. Pakistan fired at Pakistan's Gurez Sector in Bandipora, North Kashmir at late night late night. Mortars are still being lit from Pakistan.

It is being told that on Monday night Pakistan firing started which is still continuing right now. This is the first time since the 2003 agreement when Pakistan has set up mortars in this area and the Indian army has responded to them in his own language in a more powerful way.
