In Rajasthan, a political game is going on between CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, in which the Gujjar society has also involved. The Gujjar community has come out in support of Pilot. For which the society has called a mahapanchayat. Most MLAs coming from the Gujjar community in Rajasthan do not consider Sachin Pilot  as their leader but CM Gehlot. Due to this, out of the total 8 MLAs of Rajasthan's Gujjars, 5 are standing firmly in Gehlot's supporters. With whom this meeting is being called.

In Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot is considered a big leader of Gujjar society. About 6% of the population of Gujjar community is in the state. Due to which 8 MLAs were selected from the Gujjar community in 2018. In which there were 7 Congress and 1 BSP but no one from the Bharatiya Janata Party could win. But Joginder Awana, who won from BSP, later joined Congress. Sachin Pilot along with 18 MLAs burnt the bugle of rebel against the Gehlot government. Only two MLAs of Gujjar community have come together, the rest have not been able to believe them.

MLA Indraj Gujjar and GR Khatana belong to the Gujjar group in Sachin Pilot Group. Pilot himself is also from the Gujjar group. Gujjars like Dr. Jitendra Singh, Shakuntala Rawat, Ministers Ashok Chandna Gujjar, Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, and Joginder Awana are standing firm with MLA Gehlot. In this way, Gehlot has shown that by keeping five MLAs of the Gujjar group with him, he still has a hold among the leaders of Gujjar group.
