New Delhi: A heart-rending incident has been heard in Gurugram, adjacent to India's capital Delhi. A young woman jumped off a flyover in Gurugram on Saturday. The seriously injured girl was taken to a hospital for treatment where she lost her life. The girl has been identified as 23-year-old Sapna, a resident of Hans Enclave.
According to information, the incident took place on the Rajiv Chowk flyover. It is being told that thousands of people travel every day from the Rajiv Chowk flyover. On Saturday, people were also leaving this flyover like normal days. A young woman came from Activa and parked her scooty on the flyover and came to the shore.
When the young woman fell down on the road, hearing the loud noise, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. People have also reported it to the police. Police, who rushed to the spot after receiving information, sent the girl in a serious condition to a government hospital for treatment. The police have started investigating the incident. It is said that the girl had also cut the vein of her hand before jumping from the flyover. Gurugram police have taken the body of the girl into custody and sent for postmortem.
