GURUGRAM: The police said on Thursday that three to four bouncers and a manager at Gurugram's Studio Xo nightclub allegedly beaten up by 3-4 bouncers and a manager bar in Sector-29 market of Gurugram.However, after a complaint, a First Information Report was registered at Sector-29 police station in Gurugram on Tuesday, the police said.
The complainant, Mohan Mishra, claims that a resident of DLF Phase-2 informed the police that he is a fitness expert and owns a gym in the area. On November 19, at around midnight, he and his four friends, one of them was a professional athlete, went to the Studio Xo bar in Sector-29 Market to celebrate his birthday.
Following the party, Mishra and his friends were seated at a table next to the dance floor in the club. When we started to dance, however, three to four bouncers namely Joginder, Anurag, Tushar Gulati, and club manager Sahil, allegedly beat us with sticks, slapped us repeatedly, and threw us outside the building, according to Mishra's police report.
"My 4 gm gold chain was allegedly taken by bouncer Joginder, who also repeatedly hit me in the face. The bouncers then threatened us with severe repercussions, left us on the road, and went back into the club " the complainant told the police.
On November 22, Mishra lodged a complaint in this respect and told the police everything that had happened.
In accordance with sections 147, 149, 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, the sector-29 police station has filed an FIR against unidentified persons.
Station house officer (SHO) for Sector-29 Police Station Pawan Malik said in a statement:- "In this regard, we have filed a complaint. We are also checking the incident's facts. Soon, the accused will be taken into custody." However, a club official declined to comment and stated that the club is working with the investigating agency.
