Katihar: A big incident is coming out of Katihar in Bihar. A case of suicide by a husband and wife has come to the fore here. It is being said that the couple committed suicide because they were troubled by the debt. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the dead body into custody, and started investigating the matter by sending it for a postmortem.

According to the news received, one leg of the deceased Mangal Mandal was broken, and he was getting his treatment done in the hospitals of Bhagalpur and Purnia by taking a loan. Mamta's wife was taking care of the family by doing odd jobs. But the debt was increasing day by day. In two years, he had a debt of about four and a half lakh rupees. The lenders were pressuring Mangal to return the money. Due to this, Mangal and his wife committed suicide by hanging themselves.

The deceased husband and wife have three sons, whose ages are 8, 10, and 12. In the morning, after returning from tuition, the children knocked on the door, but there was no answer inside. The children informed their uncle about this. Mangal's brother, Suman Mandal, opened the door and saw that both were hanging. The dead bodies of both were removed, and the police were informed. In the initial investigation, the matter of suicide has come to the fore. On this matter, SDPO Om Prakash said that the incident of suicide of a husband and wife has come to light in village Khota in Pothia OP area. The bodies of both have been sent for postmortem. The matter is being investigated. Further action will be taken only after the postmortem report comes in.
